Dancing in the kitchen

Created by Margaret 3 years ago

I was a solomn, serious little girl, the first of the next generation of Durdins. I remember going to stay with Auntie Eileen when I was quite young. It was a great treat. She had pop music on her radio instead of the classics that I was used to. I have never forgotten dancing round the kitchen with her singing "The flying purple people eater" and "My friend the witch doctor"; before we collapsed into laughter. She taught me to laugh and to find fun everywhere.

Years later I realised that she had also taught me about unconditional love.

Bless you, Eileen; you are one of God's special people.
